Yeah, what about them?
Not much really... This blog isn't either well formatted or spell-checked.
Why? 'cause I'm a dork and I can't be bothered with them -
here.
Spelling is a bit of a problem for me because I don't write in English.
Italian is my first language (yep, I live in beautiful Italy :) and I prefer american to
english. But my parents are english, so most words I write in english, some others
in american... do you care?
I mean - is there really all that difference between "
colour" and "
color"? I don't think
so. Which means that this blog is a mixture of english, american, and other words
that I just invent to suit my communication's needs.
I don't think this kind of spelling matters are a problem to anyone (and too bad for
them if they are! lol) but not *real* spelling mistakes. Those are ugly to see. Really.
Maybe not on a marketing dork's blog, but so much more on a sales letter.
So if you don't want to be a dork like me - spell check anything you write online!
Here's a handy (and free!) tool to help you:
SpellCheck.netAnd about the formatting of this blog? It sucks, doesn't it? Some lines are long, others
are short... I try to hit enter at the end of each line to make them more a less the same
lenght, but some times I forget. Ah well... but if you really want to know (do you? do you?)
you should keep your lines all under 60 characters when writing an email; this way
you can be more a less sure every email reader will format your message exactly like you
planned it instead of breaking lines and making them look... bad, ugly and ... not "pro" at all.
On a sales page instead, on a website, maybe 60 characters is a little short, but what
I know for sure is that shorter paragraphs are more easily read. Keep lots of space on
the margins and make your copy tighter. It will look better and it will be more easy to
read. What can you want more? The order, yes, I know... that doesn't depend on the
format of your sales copy. But making it easier to read sure helps!
So don't format your sales page as badly as this blog is formatted. This is just a blog!
(even though I must admit that writing about formatting caused me to take a little more
care than usual about the looks of this post... but just look at how ugly the other ones
are! lol)
Have a great time,
cheers,
Saul

If this trick could triple your profits, would you like to know it? Of course you would!
But it doesn't triple your profits, anyway, so who cares? lol
Some people do, because they still use it... I bet you're curious now. So, what's this trick all about? I'll tell you what: if you send me 97 hyperdollars
by midnight of today (whatever day it is today) I'll tell you what this trick is.
You know what? I'm so generous that I'll make this offer so that it is valid *every* day - just in case you missed it yesterday: I'm sooo generous! I'll use this tiny script that puts today's date on the page and voilĂ ! My offer is valid
every day until midnight.
If you come back tomorrow, you will still have the chance to send me 97 hyperdollars
by midnight and I'll tell you the oldest trick in the book.
Actually..even if you come back the day after. Or in a month's time... but REMEMBER:
you have time
only until midnight (again, whatever day today is!) to send me 97 hyperdollars and I'll tell you all about this trick.
Valid Only Until Midnight!
Yeah, sure. Try pulling the other one now...
Cheers,
Saul

Isn't this website nice? No graphics, no fancy codes, no frames, no popups...
These are just *some* of the tricks that people use to sell stuff online.
But since I'm a dork, I'm not using them. Not one.
I will tell you about them, but I can't use them... why? 'cause they annoy readers.
You want content, not fancy popups with clever offers and pretty graphics with cars you'll never own or drive. So I haven't put any of that stuff here - just content.
Mmmhhh... maybe I'm not such a dork after all... Oh yes! I was forgetting...
for now this blog is profitless - it's not making a cent, which means.. ehr... mmmhh...
that I'm working for free? Oh. Well, ok, I'm a dork.
Cheers,
Saul
